Frequently Asked Questions

Are you open to the public?

We are an online only business therefor do not have a brick and mortar presence. If you happen to find an address for us that is a MAILING ONLY address. If you show up there you will be quite disappointed.

Free local pickup of live items is an option but is conducted by appointment ONLY!

What are WYSIWYG corals?

The majority of our fish and corals are WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get). This allows us to display the exact animal for sale so that you, the buyer, have a much better notion of what you are purchasing. Not all of our stock is WYSIWYG, we do occasionally offer frags of larger colonies but you can expect those frags to be as close to identical in both color and appearance as our description. There are occasions where we are able to take special orders, please contact us using our Contact Us page for further information.

When will my order ship?

Please expect a 3-5 day handling time on all orders, although we do typically get the items sent out much quicker.

Live item orders are shipped Monday-Wednesday via overnight or next day shipping.

Dry item orders are shipped Monday-Friday, we do not ship on the weekends.

Where do you ship?

Currently we ship via FedEx and USPS to the lower 48 states.

We are unable to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, P.O. Boxes, APO addresses, and internationally.

There are government restrictions regulating the shipping of certain products to various locations, please be aware that these restrictions are outside of our control.

What are your shipping fees?

For dry item shipping please see the chart in our Shipping Policy.

Live item orders are shipped Monday-Wednesday via overnight or next day shipping. All live orders are subject to a $59.99 shipping fee. Some live items might qualify for $24.99-$29.99 shipping. This will be noted in the item's listing if qualified.

There is a box charge on all live item orders. The box charge is $9.99. However; you only pay one box charge per order, even if you have multiple packages shipping on the same day.

Shipping is one of our biggest expenses. In order to be able to continue to keep up with the rising costs, the box charge is an unwanted necessity.
